About The Position

We are a fast-growing, high-volume commercial lighting services company looking for a full-time Dayshift Lighting Technician to join our team. No prior lighting or electrical experience is required, but mechanical aptitude is a must. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn a trade and grow into the electrical side of the business. Many of our electricians started in this exact position!

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• No lighting or electrical experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Clean driving record (a few minor tickets are okay) and a valid driver's license
• Must be reliable and show up to work consistently
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and email
• Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, repairing, and installing indoor and basic outdoor commercial lighting systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting and replace lighting components as needed
• Work primarily dayshift in the Wasatch Front area, with occasional travel or night work
• Communicate directly with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Fill out work orders, purchase orders, and other job-related paperwork
• Use a smartphone to send emails, use apps, and manage basic work tasks
