The core business of their Energy Solutions division is the delivery of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs). These ESPCs are a viable way to upgrade and renovate facilities in a budget-neutral or even budget-positive way, diverting money already being spent on utilities into facility upgrades. The process covers scope development, design, bidding, construction management, commissioning, measurement and verification, and ongoing energy management services. CMTA has experience in designing the nation’s most energy efficient buildings, including many zero energy buildings, and possesses unparalleled knowledge in the Guaranteed ESPC market. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest growing division of CMTA. This position will work with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission LED lighting retrofit and replacement projects for various clients. The ideal candidate is typically a self-motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a technical background.

Requirements

  • 0-3+ years of electrical design and/or lighting experience
  • Read and interpret engineered drawings, schematics, specifications, etc.
  • Technical background

Nice To Haves

  • EIT certificate
  • Design experience with AutoCAD/Revit
  • Experience with AGi lighting software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Design LED lighting retrofit and replacement projects
  • Bid LED lighting retrofit and replacement projects
  • Project manage LED lighting retrofit and replacement projects
  • Commission LED lighting retrofit and replacement projects
  • Audit/survey existing lighting systems
  • Determine LED lighting retrofit/replacement solutions
  • Work with a team of engineers and designers to produce high quality construction documents
  • Leadership and project management
