This is an exciting job opportunity for a Lighting Application Specialist onsite in Peachtree City, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Develop interior and exterior lighting layouts and photometric studies for agents and customers using lighting software, AutoCAD, and photometric analysis to meet project specifications. Create computer analysis with AGI32 software of application areas (i.e., parking lots, roads, public spaces, offices, warehouses, and egress spaces) to validate system performance. Collaborate closely with sales, architects, specifiers, engineers, and customers, using the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of North America standards. Serve as a key resource pre and post sales to review lighting recommendations, best practices, and continuously benchmark our performance against customer expectations to promote constant improvement. Collaborate with team members to provide design driven solutions centered on Cooper Lighting products using forward-thinking innovation with a passion for results. While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical discipline (recent graduates encouraged to apply) Experience with design and/or engineering in lighting, electrical, architectural, or related area, but not electronics or circuit board design; solid grasp of the design process, including concept development, technical analysis, and implementation Can translate design concepts into practical applications based on collaboration with customers, designers, and engineers Able to apply analytical thinking to evaluate system performance, make data-driven decisions, optimize solutions, and meet deadlines to secure orders Experience working with customers, listening, and articulating solutions with exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD, AGi32, and Visual software experience a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
