About The Position

Join us as a PACKER / LOADER / FUEL AND LUBE TECHNICIAN and play a pivotal role in our dynamic world of heavy civil construction! We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects in the Nevada and Southwest, USA Region. Rotation: Project dependent, most commonly 6/1 or 14/7 Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights) Lodging & Food: Living / Subsistence Allowance will be provided. All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs. Work a rotational schedule, up to 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs. Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job. Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required. Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience performing work as ANY of the following
  • PACKER OPERATOR
  • LOADER OPERATOR
  • FUEL & LUBE TECHNICIAN
  • Have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10-Construction and OSHA 40 Hazwoper certifcates if required by the project scope

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment in support of Project Scope work mandate.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tires, fluids, lights and brakes to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, other operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.
  • Operate 2-way radio
  • Shovel out equipment tracks.
  • Perform labour duties as / when required.
  • Assist ground personnel as / when required.
  • Other duties as / when assigned
