We have new open positions to join our growing team at our optical manufacturing lab in St. Cloud Minnesota. The most technologically advanced Optical lab in the St. Cloud area. Starting pay $19.15-$23.94 plus 10%shift differential and $0.50 perfect attendance bonus Higher pay with relevant experience. Beat the Heat! Work here at 71 degrees year-round and brightly lit. Duties vary based on the department and lab needs and include all duties as assigned. Generally, associates will perform a variety of tasks, such as described below, based on department functions: Surface: Taping, blocking, generating, backside coating, deblocking, polishing. AR: Read invoices, sorting, pre-inspection, operate AR Coating Machine, load and unload lenses in sectors and machines, return lenses to trays and sort, clean and dry lenses, visually inspect to ensure ANSI Standards are met. As a Teamleader you will assist and guide the team to achieve goals including Obtaining resources required. Shifting labor as required Training others Promote teamwork and positive work environment. Shift Available: 10:00p to 6:00a Sunday through Thursday Seasonal Overtime available and may extend hours
Requirements
- PRIOR LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- No specific experience required but previous related optical or manufacturing experience is a plus.
