The Light Industrial Assembler position involves performing a variety of tasks that range from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. The role focuses on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. The assembler will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and utilize hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Additionally, the assembler is responsible for making continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies, conducting quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications, and may also disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
