About The Position

Berkey’s Transfer Station is looking to add an experienced LIGHT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/LABORER to join our team in Fleetwood, PA. This is a FT position - 7AM to 4PM Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. If you're hired by us, we will provide paid training for all of the equipment required to perform this job. We provide WEEKLY PAY with OT, fantastic benefits, extremely generous PTO, and a 100% matching 401K, up to your 5% contribution. We’ll provide PAID on-site training for you to learn, use and operate all of our equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have the REQUIRED documents to legally work in the United States
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Must have reliable, everyday transportation
• Must be able to speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of tipping floor and work areas
• General yard clean-up
• Building maintenance
• Janitorial tasks
• Direct traffic
• Spot checking for NON-ACCEPTABLE materials
• Prepping items for transfer
• Fueling & maintaining vehicles and yard equipment
• Participate in training for equipment operation
