About The Position
Light Duty Technician Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Light Duty Technician to bolster our team. This position requires the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment. This individual must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with employees and customers. Requirements include daily safety inspections, minimal reworks, and maintaining production standards. Particular attention will be on timeliness and quality of repairs. As a Light Duty Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our assets. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
- Mechanic’s toolset
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
- DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are preferred.
- Must be willing to participate in the company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all vehicle and equipment repair phases, including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
