Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
• Willing and able to work overtime.
• Willing and able to work various shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures on loading and unloading of ingredients, supplies and finished products.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies to packaging and processing areas.
• Follow established warehousing procedures while staging or storing ingredients, materials and finished goods.
• Keep accurate shipping and receiving tallies and loading manifests in SAP or MES.
• Perform Transfers as required in SAP and MES, maintaining the integrity of the SAP and MES system at all times.
• Remove trash from warehouse, packaging and processing areas to compactors and recyclable corrugate to cardboard compactor.
• Conduct safety and mechanical inspection of lift trucks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
