About The Position

The Lift Truck Operator – II will operate electrically powered industrial truck equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, and/or move product and materials within the Warehouse, CPG, and Natural Ingredients departments in a safe, and efficient manner. The Lift Truck Operator II will also be responsible for proficiency in all warehouse functions which include, but are not limited to, Bolthouse products and system consolidation.

Requirements

High School/GED or one to two years of experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
Previous experience using a warehouse management or inventory system, which includes RF scan guns.
Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow all safety, operating, and maintenance documentation
Ability to efficiently read, and write in English
Ability to fill out routine reports and simple correspondence
Ability to work as a team and follow instructions while in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
Ability to apply common sense and good judgment while working under minimal supervision
Ability to train, learn, and use the equipment and tools necessary
Ability to work scheduled, assigned times and overtime as required
Possess basic mathematical skills (such as adding and subtracting)
Experience with Microsoft Office programs: Windows, Excel, and Access

Nice To Haves

1+ year full-time forklift position experience, preferably stand-up forklift.
Experience training others
Experience with process review and definition
Experience with public speaking or leading meetings
Prior exposure to manufacturing, preferably the food or beverage industry, with knowledge of GMPs
Bilingual (English/Spanish

Responsibilities

Conducts daily inspections on assigned equipment which may include but not be limited to stand-up, sit- down, high reach, quad-mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment
Complete and maintain quality, inventory, and preventative maintenance documentation
Consistently uses a radio frequency scan gun which is connected to computer (VMU) on lift that directs, identifies, and tracks materials as it is moved
Responsible for physically rotating materials to ensure proper aging
Utilizes Red Prairie, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to relocate materials to proper
Will unload, transport, and store all incoming materials/finished goods using Red Prairie (WMS)
Maintain work area organized and in a clean manner to ensure safety and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
Other assigned duties and/or projects to support business needs.
