About The Position

We are seeking a Lift Station Mechanic for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will p erform scheduled maintenance on lift station equipment, piping and structures. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm This position has a pay rate of $24/hr This position requires e xperience with hydraulics, motors, valves and/or pumps

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid Drivers License
• 2+ years experience with hydraulics, motors, valves and/or pumps

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and/or replacement of lift station motors, pumps, and associated equipment; equipment may include, but not be limited to hydraulic and/or manually operated hoist, portable power tools, volt/amp meters, electrical motor panels and radio telemetry units
• Work within confined spaces such as sewage wet wells, manholes and "can" type lift stations
• Diagnose computer generated telemetry reports on status of individual lift stations and lift station systems in general
