About The Position

Join the team at Cooper Spur Ski Area, part of Mt. Hood Meadows, and help create unforgettable mountain experiences for our guests! As a Lift Operator, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations of our ski lifts/rope tows—ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of everyone on the mountain. This hands-on, outdoor position is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced alpine environment. You’ll provide friendly guest service, monitor lift operations, assist with loading and unloading, and maintain safe, well-groomed lift areas. Each day brings something new—from greeting families on their first ski day to keeping the mountain running smoothly during fresh snowfall. We’re looking for dependable, enthusiastic team players who enjoy working outside in all weather conditions and take pride in providing exceptional hospitality. This is a full-time, seasonal position

Requirements

Must be 18 or older
Must commit to working weekends, holidays, and evenings
Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength, including shoveling snow
Must be able to offer quality and engaging service and hospitality
Must be comfortable working outside in cold, wet, and extreme weather
Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
