Requirements

  • Ability to successfully pass PIT training and operating PIT (Reach Truck and Order Selector)
  • Basic understanding of equipment operator roles within a warehouse distribution environment
  • Basic math skills are a must
  • Basic understanding of the SAP warehouse management system
  • Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing, and active listening
  • Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking, and planning
  • Flexibility as priorities may change mid-task
  • Personable and positive attitude when dealing with co-workers and vendors
  • Ability to handle multiple job tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision
  • Meticulous attention to detail where accuracy is key
  • Focus and critical thinking
  • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Bin block counts
  • Planned cycle counts
  • Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Retrieve and transport products to assigned destinations
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company and OSHA safety standards
  • Use SAP scanners, tablets, and other devices as assigned to complete assignments
  • Continually meet production efficiency levels
  • Maintain quality of work (Accuracy is key)
  • Work independently and in a team environment willing to help in other departments and work overtime when necessary
  • Consistently work scheduled shifts and be on time to comply with the company attendance policy
  • Be able to troubleshoot and correct problems that occur within daily tasks
  • Perform any other assignment/task given by any member of leadership
