Lift Mechanic/Electrician
About The Position
Massanutten Resort Job Summary The Ski Maintenance Lift Mechanic/Electrician performs general maintenance and repairs to aerial and surface lifts, lighting systems and other related tasks as assigned. Individual will perform electrical work, as needed, in accordance with all local codes. Must be at least 18 Prior mechanical or electrical experience Ability to work at heights outside in all weather conditions Must be able to climb 70 feet, lift 100 pounds and work outside in inclement weather and be exposed to extreme heat and cold weather conditions Preferred Prior electrical or mechanical vocational training and/or lift operation experience Welding, fabrication and equipment operation experience a plus Valid driver’s license and approved driving record Typical Schedule Days: Spring/Summer: Monday–Thursday, weekends and holidays required when aerial lift is operating Winter: Monday–Friday, weekends and h olidays required Hours: Spring/Summer: 7am–5pm, additional hours as needed Winter: 7am–5pm, occasional late evenings as needed Core Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on aerial lifts and surface conveyors Troubleshoot electrical wiring Conduct preventative maintenance checks Install new lighting systems Maintain clean work area Other duties as assigned by management For more information, contact Mary Turner at 540-417-2235.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18
- Prior mechanical or electrical experience
