About The Position

A NorthBay Health Lift Coach/ Transport Technician, is responsible for assisting healthcare workers in the proper techniques and best practices for safely lifting and transferring patients in addition providing timely and efficient general transport of patients between departments. This role typically involves providing training and coaching to staff on how to reduce the risk of injury and ensure the safety of both patients and caregivers during lifting activities. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Current AHA or equivalent BLS card.
  • Healthcare-related background, such as allied nursing, physical therapy, or occupational therapy, is highly preferred.
  • Must possess great verbal, written, electronic communication skills to include; legible handwriting and Internet etiquette
  • Demonstrates the True North values.   • Attendance is an essential function of the job.
