About The Position

The Lift Attendant position at Bristol Mountain involves assisting guests with loading and unloading from the lift, ensuring their safety at all times, and conducting inspections of the lift. The role also includes performing regular track maintenance, checking tickets and season passes for validity, and ensuring that guests have appropriate ski and snowboard equipment. The Lift Attendant must maintain the loading area of the lifts and present themselves in a professional manner. A friendly and outgoing demeanor is essential to create a positive experience for guests, contributing to their lifelong memories. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 16 years of age or older
• Must have a heightened sense of safety and ability to react quickly to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
• Must enjoy working outdoors
• Must have appropriate clothing for working in all weather conditions
• Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in loading and unloading from the lift
• Ensure the safety of guests at all times
• Conduct open and close inspections of the lift
• Perform regular track maintenance
• Check tickets and season passes for validity
• Check for appropriate ski & snowboard equipment (ski brakes, leashes, safety straps & baskets on poles)
• Maintain loading area of the lifts
• Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Must be friendly and outgoing while presenting a courteous manner at all times
• Work with guests to ensure a positive and lifelong memory
• Assist with other duties as needed
