About The Position

The Lift Attendant will perform any and all activities as assigned by the Lift Operations Supervisor. They will operate the ticketing tablet and solution lift pass issues efficiently while providing guests with courteous and friendly service. This person will achieve and maintain the highest standards; requires dedication to the team in a dynamic environment. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must have an ability to react quickly to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Confident individual with quick problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand the different product offerings and how they relate to lift access
  • Must enjoy working outdoors
  • Must have appropriate footwear and clothing for working in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand and work outdoors
  • Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
  • Must have weekend and evening availability and flexible weekday availability
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Please be advised that the location of this position is in the mountains. Inclement weather can and will be encountered on a regular basis, especially throughout the winter. Reliable transportation to and from work is a necessity. Access to a 4WD or AWD vehicle is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they prepare to load the lift
  • Verify ticket and season pass validity with RFID scanning technology and tablet
  • Works with guests to resolve scanning issues and reports problems to Ticket Desk as needed
  • Manage lift corral for smooth transition to gates and loading zone
  • Checks for appropriate ski and snowboard equipment (ski brakes, leashes, safety straps and baskets on poles)
  • Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Must be friendly and outgoing while presenting a courteous manner at all times
  • Work with guests to ensure a positive lift boarding experience
  • Assist with other duties as needed
