About The Position

Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about enriching the lives of seniors? Join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant and help bring joy, engagement, and meaning to each day for our residents. Assist in planning, scheduling, and leading daily lifestyle programs that support residents’ intellectual, recreational, occupational, spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being. Coordinate and participate in community events and activities—from setup to cleanup. Help plan and decorate for holidays and special occasions. Prepare, post, and distribute the monthly calendar of events. Meet with new residents to introduce them to our lifestyle program. Communicate regularly with residents and families to encourage participation and feedback. Support the Director of Lifestyle in coordinating wellness programs and leading resident groups. Accurately record resident participation using a charting database. Promote a welcoming, engaging, and hospitable environment consistent with our Mission, Values, and Catholic social teachings. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead engaging activities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Windows, internet applications, and design software, Canva (for calendars and signs).
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in both office and active event environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
