Lifestyle Intern - Summer
About The Position
PURPLE are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intern to join our Lifestyle team, working across a portfolio of luxury lifestyle brands within arts & culture, design, travel, real estate and food and beverage. This role offers an insight into influencer relations, media monitoring, event coordination, and brand strategy within the high-end beauty space. You will gain exposure to some of the industry’s most prestigious brands while collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should be a dedicated, multi-tasked, and proactive candidate who is enthusiastic about the fields of hospitality, art, and design and has an interest in a public relations career.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Effective digital communication across email and Microsoft Teams
- Works well within a team
- Detail Oriented
- Eagerness and dedication to learn more about the lifestyle industry is essential
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity
- Prepare clips of secured client coverage by creating a clean and cohesive image, gathering viewership data, and calculating the estimated value
- Conduct industry research to identify emerging trends within the travel, restaurant, and design spaces and create reports summarizing results
- Provide support on administrative tasks including audits, invitation lists, and updating databases
- Analyze the influencer landscape to identify targets for ongoing campaigns and events
- Compile media lists of lifestyles press across digital, print and broadcast
- Develop skills to draft pitches and story angles using an effective approach
- Facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day function of each account team providing support as requested and required
