The Suncoast View, WWSB's Lifestyle/Feature show, is searching for a Part-Time Digital & Broadcast Host/Producer to join our established, ensemble cast. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - ABC7 is searching for a Part-Time Digital & Broadcast Professional to connect with viewers by joining an established, ensemble cast on the station's lifestyle show, called The Suncoast View. - Connect with our community. Be the first. Have fun. ABC7’s lifestyle broadcast is searching for a Part-Time Producer and Host who can bring content to life on both digital and broadcast platforms. You’ll join an ensemble cast by producing and hosting fun, in-the-field segments during our mid-morning lifestyle show called "The Suncoast View.” The right candidate will be able to work the phone, just as seamlessly as s/he can work the ABC7 Live Desk and the station’s Content Manager System. You'll be expected to: - Produce & present clear, confident, and thoughtful “live” and “look live” reports on digital and broadcast platforms - Collaborate with Photographers and Producers to avoid stressful situations. - Be proficient in all MMJ Workflows, including ENG Camera, LiveU, and Edius operations - Attend planning meetings, set up assigned segments, and coordinate guest appearances - Research events and issues to go deeper, to commit to sustained urgency across multiple hits on multiple platforms - Clip video and write stories for the website

Requirements

• Two years of reporting and producing experience desired.
• Demonstrated ability to engage on live, unscripted television
• Ability to write web articles and app pushes
• Eagerness to collaborate with teammates and community members
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• An internship in a commercial newsroom
• A degree or intensive coursework in communications and/or journalism
