About The Position

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for planning and overseeing social events within the community, ensuring exemplary service that aligns with the values of the Castle Group. This role involves collaboration with the Property Manager and various committees to execute events, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records, all while providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency required; Associate's degree in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Three to five years of business experience, preferably in event planning.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Experience in maintaining a website is desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule annual special projects and Club House Maintenance with the Property Manager.
  • Work with the Social Committee chairperson and Board liaison to plan and execute social events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement all Association-funded events, including budgeting, ticket sales, and procurement of supplies.
  • Attend all events and shows funded by the Association and coordinate with the Social Committee for additional events.
  • Meet with talent and travel agents to preview events for potential presentation to the community.
  • Select events and classes for the year and present reports at board meetings.
  • Publish and distribute the social calendar electronically and in the clubhouse.
  • Negotiate contracts for shows, workshops, and entertainment.
  • Create printed materials for events, including bios, itineraries, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain complete files for all events, including financial records and event-related documents.
  • Edit and produce the Community Association Newsletter and solicit advertising.
  • Update the community access channel and prepare management reports.
  • Serve as a management representative to various committees and ensure safety precautions are followed.
