About The Position

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging community experience through strategic event planning and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on developing and executing a diverse calendar of events—including social gatherings, wellness programs, and community activities—while managing logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines to ensure high-quality experiences for residents. In addition, the Lifestyle Director supports marketing efforts by assisting in the creation of newsletters, social media content, and other communications to promote events and maintain consistent community branding. Serving as a key ambassador, this role builds relationships with residents and local partners to enhance programming and foster a connected, active community environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting for events.
  • Competent in all standard Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook and Teams.
  • Knowledge of and Experience with Social Media channels
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing techniques including utilizing online graphics programs including one of the following: Canva, photoshop or other.
  • Knowledge of e-blast systems including Constant Contact and/or Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of website management (Wordpress) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading ability and the ability to respond within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Current Driver’s License
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of any amenity, country club software/apps is a plus
  • Knowledge of website management (Wordpress) is preferred but not required.
