About The Position
The Community Lifestyle Director at FirstService Residential is responsible for planning, promoting, and executing social events and programs for homeowners associations (HOAs) to enhance the quality of life and vibrancy of the community. This role involves overseeing Charter Club activities and ensuring that residents are engaged and informed about lifestyle opportunities. The Lifestyle Director will work closely with residents to solicit input and encourage participation in community events, while also managing the scheduling of facilities and coordinating with other departments within the Association. In addition to event planning, the Lifestyle Director will develop and distribute newsletters and other marketing materials to promote community activities. This position requires the management of an annual budget for lifestyle programs, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality offerings. The Director will also establish relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and insurance requirements. The Lifestyle Director will assist in the orientation of new owners, provide leadership support for Charter Clubs, and develop a volunteer program to promote resident involvement. The role includes managing the community website and leading a team of residents who provide technical support. Adherence to FirstService Residential's Global Service Standards and safety protocols is essential, as is the ability to perform various special projects and tasks as assigned.
