About The Position

As a Lifestyle Benefits Intern at Cox Enterprises, you will become familiar with lifestyle benefits, medical benefits, employee relief fund, leaves, and disability, along with their business goals, objectives, and needs. You will support the lifestyle benefits and wellness plans and vendors, assist with Total Rewards team events, and coordinate various activities including set-up and breakdown, volunteer coordination, and communication with vendor partners. Additionally, you will organize and perform audits of employee discount programs, manipulate and interpret data using Excel, and develop marketing materials and presentations. This role offers the opportunity to deliver benefit presentations to employees and assist fellow team members on various projects and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Health Sciences & Wellness, Public Health, Public Relations, Sports or Business Administration/Management, or a related field).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering presentations.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Solid critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Event planning or project management experience and a passion for health and wellness is a plus.
  • Available to work full time Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with lifestyle benefits, medical benefits, employee relief fund, leaves, and disability.
  • Support the lifestyle benefits and wellness plans and vendors.
  • Assist with Total Rewards team events including set-up and breakdown.
  • Coordinate volunteers and provide onsite assistance for events.
  • Coordinate materials and facilitate communications with vendor partners.
  • Support communications and promotional efforts for events.
  • Organize and perform audits of employee discount programs.
  • Manipulate and interpret data using Excel for recommendations and reporting.
  • Develop, review, and/or update marketing materials and employee communications.
  • Deliver benefit presentations to employees.
  • Assist and support team members on reporting, analysis, projects, and campaigns.
  • Perform additional projects upon request.
