About The Position

The Lifestyle Bartender role is about creating a memorable and unique experience for guests, going beyond just mixing drinks. Bartenders are expected to stay updated on new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts but also the hosts of the space, taking ownership of guest service more broadly. They will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly, building relationships within the hotel and community to anticipate and deliver on guests’ needs. Bartenders should be passionate about the guest service experience and have an eye for detail, from handling money and providing information to guests, to ensuring the quality of their drinks. Critical to success are creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a professional uniform and personal appearance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 1 year of related work experience
• No supervisory experience
• No license or certification required

• Act as the host of the space
• Take ownership of guest service more broadly and do what needs to be done
• Use knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly
• Build relationships with others across the hotel and in the community, to anticipate and deliver on guests’ needs
