In this position, you’ll be responsible for performing LifeSciences cell/tissue/sample processing functions and maintain records in compliance with LifeNet Health policy and Good Laboratory Practices, and when applicable, Good Manufacturing Practices. Assists with Life Sciences research and GMP product manufacturing and commercialization logistics. Performs all aspects of processing, preservation, and storage of tissues in a regulated environment. Works in a team environment under aseptic conditions while performing controlled production process for Lifesciences products. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • One (1) year previous work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Lab work to include cell culture or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in LifeSciences, biology, or related field
  • One (1) year working in tissue banking, laboratory science, or related industry

Responsibilities

  • Performs receiving and processing of research and GMP cells/tissue/samples according to established plan and communicating with internal customers, if needed.
  • Follows all SOP and GLP/GMP (as appropriate) to perform research and or GMP characterization of product to include proper documentation per all SOPs/regulations.
  • Follows all standard operating procedures and completes associated forms and documentation, including production logs, data summaries, and technical reports. Assists with new technology or assay validation transfer process from the R&D/PD departments including modification of SOPs and forms.
  • Assists supervisory team in production enhancements and improvement initiatives
  • Assists with cleaning the lab and monitoring reagent/supply levels. Operates and monitors laboratory equipment including maintenance and calibration. As applicable, assists with set-up/clean-up for events in the Clinical Education Lab.
