About The Position
Under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Lifeguard position includes various duties related to the daily operations of the aquatics facilities. Lifeguards are expected to maintain exceptional safety standards to protect patrons and staff, and they must be available for at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week throughout the entire season. The City has implemented two bonus programs for seasonal staff: a Referral Bonus for referring candidates and an Onboarding Bonus for those ready to work by May 1st.
