About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and Aquatics Programmer, the Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to provide a friendly, safe and sanitary environment that encourages members to continue to use the Fitness Plus facility, continue to improve individual swimming and safety skills, and continue to use those skills for leisure, recreation and wellness purposes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma-preferred
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification preferred within 30 days of employment.
  • Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification-preferred.
  • BLS Certification within 45 days of hire required if colleague does not have American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification- required
