About The Position

Greek Peak Mountain Resort Mission Statement: “To Create Unforgettable Memories” Make a Splash as a Lifeguard at Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark! Are you a strong swimmer with a passion for safety and guest service? Join our team as a Lifeguard at Hope Lake Lodge, where you'll be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and welcoming aquatic environment for guests of all ages. In this essential role, you’ll be on the front line of safety, ensuring that our waterpark is a place for guests to make unforgettable memories. Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have WEEKEND availability. What You’ll Do: Ensure Guest Safety: Monitor pools and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly in emergencies, using your training to provide lifesaving care as needed. Maintain Aquatic Standards : Enforce pool rules and maintain aquatics standards set by Ellis & Associates and Resort Management. Be Prepared: Stay current on certifications and maintain physical fitness through regular training, endurance swims, and rescue drills. Create a Clean Environment : During quieter times, help keep our waterpark clean and inviting by assisting with sanitation tasks. Stay Visible & Professional: Be an approachable presence for guests, clearly communicating pool rules and ensuring everyone enjoys their time safely.

Requirements

• Safety-Focused: Dedicated to maintaining a safe environment, with knowledge of industry standards and emergency response.
• Independent & Alert: Able to work effectively on your own, with the awareness to identify potential issues and act quickly.
• Positive Team Player: Friendly, approachable, and able to work with other team members to keep our waterpark running smoothly.
• Physically Fit: Strong swimming skills and physical stamina, ready to assist and perform rescues as needed.
• Applicants MUST be at least 16 years old and have WEEKEND availability.
