The Kroc Center is seeking a morning Lifeguard to work the opening pool shift from 5:15 am - 1:00 pm up to 25 hours/week. Lifeguard certification training is available. The next class is being held the weekend of January 9th-11. As a Morning Lifeguard, you will keep a watchful eye during group fitness classes, splash play and swim lessons taking place. Our lifeguards play a vital role in creating a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment. You’ll monitor pool activities, assist patrons, enforce safety regulations, and support the State of Wisconsin–approved aquatic staffing plan. Light facility upkeep and cleaning tasks are also part of the role. This position starts at $15.84/hour, with the opportunity to earn an additional $1.00/hour by also serving as a Swim Instructor. A $1.00/hour shift differential is offered for all hours worked from 4:00 PM Friday through Sunday. The position also offers paid time off with 10 days of vacation per year, 12 sick days per year (6 of which can be taken like vacation days), 12 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and the ability to earn an additional 2 days of PTO through our wellness program.
