About The Position

Willow Creek Country Club is seeking attentive, reliable, and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our team for the upcoming pool season. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all members and guests using our aquatic facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, fun, and welcoming pool environment.

Requirements

• Must hold a current Lifeguard Certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent
• CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Previous lifeguarding experience, especially in a club or resort setting
• Knowledge of water safety and pool operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for members and guests
• Enforce all pool rules and club policies professionally and consistently
• Respond promptly to all emergencies and provide appropriate care, including CPR or first aid as needed
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and functionality
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of pool furniture and safety equipment
• Provide friendly and courteous service to members and their guests
• Complete regular safety drills and training updates as required
