About The Position
In search of: Qualified Lifeguards - Louisville Area YMCA Qualifications: At least 15 years of age Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid If not certified, willingness to be trained Available Hours: Mornings: 5:30 - 9:00am Daytime: 9:00am - 3:00pm Weekends Responsibilities: Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area Attends mandatory in-service trainings Positive attitude & team player Rescue ready at all times during shift Starting Wage: $12.00 - commensurate with experience Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid
- Willingness to be trained if not certified
- Positive attitude
- Team player
