Job Description The Lifeguard ensures the safety of waterpark guest by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Requirements

  • Lifeguard Trained and Certified (or willing to be trained)
  • First Aid and CPR Trained and Certified (or will to be trained)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak English effectively
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and lift and/or move up to/over 100 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of guests by maintaining constant surveillance; scanning, and monitoring of guests for the assigned pool or water park area
  • Renders emergency care and contacts emergency medical services as necessary
  • Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
  • Prepares and maintains activity reports
  • Attends scheduled in-service training and follow all established safety procedures
  • Assists team members with other duties as required
