We are seeking attentive, responsible, and energetic Lifeguards to help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for members and guests at our beach and swimming areas. What You’ll Do As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our waterfront areas by: Supervising and observing swimmers at all times to ensure safety Enforcing all beach and lake rules and regulations Administering first aid for minor injuries when needed Monitoring and organizing pool/beach games and activities Setting up and maintaining all water safety equipment Performing daily beach and waterfront opening duties Maintaining cleanliness and organization of beach and cabana areas Monitoring supplies and reporting first aid/equipment needs Maintaining safety and incident records as required Communicating safety concerns or disruptions to management Attending team meetings and trainings as directed Why Join Lake Quivira? Requirements

Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.
American Red Cross Basic First Aid required, training on AED units and possession of a current Red Cross CPR card.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach, walk, stand, stoop, climb stairs, balance and/or crouch.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Physical exertion over long periods of time.
Work in hot and humid environment.
Push, pull and lift 50 pounds.
Working conditions are often, hot, humid slippery and wet.
Able to work in a busy, noisy environment.
Varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Team members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
