As a Lifeguard, you are there to ensure that our residents have a fun and safe environment in which to swim and relax. The How… Your focus is on the community’s residents. You ensure the Pool area is open on time each day, ready for resident use, and remains a safe environment during pool operating hours. Your friendly and efficient approach is perfect when greeting and engaging with residents and their guests while monitoring facility capacity throughout the shift to comply with operational standards and applicable safety regulations. You enjoy facilitating a fun but safe swimming experience, be it handing out pool equipment, towels, sunscreen, or anything else that is needed. You will utilize your ARC certification, CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure swimmer safety by surveying the pool and conducting rescues, enforcing pool swimming rules, keeping track of each swimmer in the water, and administering first aid as needed. This role does require evidence of your successful completion of an in-water practical lifeguarding skills test and a minimum of two years of experience as a lifeguard. You are safety-focused and closely monitor weather reports to make sure everyone remains safe, taking action to guide people out of the water and the area when dangerous conditions develop. The Details… You will work part-time, including weekend shifts, approximately 24 hours per week. Part-time and seasonal employees earn paid sick leave per state requirements. We can’t be an industry leader without you. Apply Now!
