YMCA Child Care Services is looking for an attentive and responsible team player to fill the position of a lifeguard to help create a safe and positive atmosphere at Camp Kekionga in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to work weekday
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Current Lifeguard Certification preferred or ability to get certified.
- Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant and diligent surveillance of the pool at all times and respond to emergency situations.
- Ensure safe, clean, and secure conditions for the indoor/outdoor pools as well as the surrounding areas.
- Enforce all aquatics rules and policies on a fair and consistent basis.
