About The Position

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for year-round Lifeguards at the YMCA. The salary range is $16.50-$18.50 per hour based on experience. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age. If you are 15 please apply as a Junior Lifeguard.
• Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR Certifications.
• Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful.
• Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of participants while they are in or near the pool or hot tub.
• General maintenance and cleanliness of the pool, water testing and general problem-solving.
• Relate positively to a variety of people including other staff, members, program participants, and children.
• Other duties as assigned.
