Trails Park and Recreation District helps bring recreation, wellness, and connection to residents in the eastern Centennial area. We operate and maintain several parks, trails, open spaces, and facilities all designed to create places where people can get outside, be active, and spend time together. We also offer a wide range of programs for all ages, including youth sports, summer camps, fitness classes, community events, and activities for active aging. Whether it’s a youth program, a daily workout, or a neighborhood gathering, our goal is to make recreation experiences accessible, welcoming, and meaningful. Mission Statement: To enhance the quality of life for the families and individuals in our community by providing them with exceptional parks, trails, facilities, and recreational activities that foster overall well-being. Under the direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, Aquatics Coordinator, and Head Guards, the Lifeguard is responsible for recognizing and responding effectively to emergency situations and the enforcement of rules and regulations of the aquatics facility. Candidates must be able to solve on-the-job issues by utilizing critical thinking and decision making skills and possess the ability to work with diverse populations. Lifeguards are expected to conduct themselves in the utmost professional manner at all times and treat the public and co-workers fairly and respectfully.
