About The Position
Oversees users of the university swimming pool.
Requirements
- High School
- 3 Months General Work Experience
- Outdoor environment; must have physical ability to perform water rescue.
Responsibilities
- Currently American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all individuals in and around the pool area.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may occur.
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or potential risks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including regular pool cleaning duties.
