About The Position
The City of Valdez Parks & Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards. Under direct supervision of a Recreation Coordinator or Recreation Staff IV, this position coordinates programs, oversees participants, facility operations, organized group activities, and monitors adult, youth or family activities and special events. This position will require additional on the job specialized skills, training and certifications. This is a temporary, non-benefited position to work up to 1559 hours annually. This position will work various hours per week, to include, evening, weekends and holidays in an indoor setting.
