At Goldfish Swim School, we are not only passionate about building confident lifelong swimmers, but we are also passionate about building the careers of our team members. We are looking for individuals who love children and are eager to gain work experience, whether you are a high schooler, a college student, or an adult with experience in aquatics, education, childcare, or customer service. We offer flexible hours around class schedules and opportunities for internships, letters of recommendation, and skill development for future careers. We pay for experience and offer leadership roles for the right candidates. No experience is necessary; we only require a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, and we will teach you the rest.

Requirements

• Passion for helping others.
• A positive and engaging personality.
• Shallow-water ELLIS Lifeguard Certification (required and offered throughout the year).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aquatics, education, childcare, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Teach 4 swimmers per class using a well-established curriculum of water safety, swim, and swimplay skills.
• Communicate progress and celebrate accomplishments with parents and caregivers at the end of each class.
• Lifeguard and supervise lessons as requested or needed.
