About The Position
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of people using and visiting the University's Aquatics facilities, including the Malkin Athletic Center and Blodgett Pool. Maintain constant and active surveillance of the pool. You will aid those in distress from an accident, injury or other emergency, including providing first aid and administering CPR as needed. You will be a team lead, guiding and teaching other lifeguards and monitors and helping to create an effective team environment. You will assist with maintenance projects. You will also act as a shift supervisor. You will be assigned to work a number of nights and weekends, and you must be willing to adjust your schedule to cover special Aquatics events such as swimming and diving championships.
