About The Position
This classification is responsible for performing lifeguarding duties at the City swimming pool. Duties and responsibilities include informing patrons of pool rules and regulations, enforcing rules and regulations, responding to emergency situations, and administering CPR and first aid. Reports to Program & Aquatic Coordinator. The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, management reserves the right to revise the job. Other duties may be required and assigned.
