About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Certified Lifeguard certification, including CPR/AED/FIRST AID, WSI, CPO certifications.
• Ability to direct and participate in the extrication of bodies from the water in an emergency.
• Familiarity with backboard and other water safety devices.
• Ability to communicate with different age groups regarding water safety rules and/or instruction.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year lifeguard experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities and use of pool/whirlpool/aquatic area to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe aquatic environment.
• Perform duties according to established guidelines.
• Ensure complete and accurate Aquatic Log entries.
• Engage positively with aquatic users, instructors, CPOs, and supervisors.
