The Lifeguard position is responsible for the safe operation of attractions in any depths of water in the park, patron surveillance ensuring guest safety, and delivering exemplary guest service.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lifeguard experience.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the proper use of safety practices and procedures while operating the attraction.
• Handles opening and closing procedures, including loading and unloading the ride.
• Provides safety instructions to guests.
• Conducts patron surveillance and assists guests with special access in any depths of water.
• Observes ride monitors to ensure safe operation of the attraction.
• Safely evacuates the ride in accordance with operating procedures.
• Welcomes and greets guests, screens for ride requirements and special needs.
• Provides guest and attraction information, monitors the queue and makes appropriate adjustments.
