About The Position
Springs Water Park in Pewaukee is seeking friendly adults or students aged 16 and older to serve as lifeguards at our year-round, shallow-water indoor water park. This position offers paid, FREE TRAINING, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a fun and dynamic environment. The water park operates Thursday through Sunday during the school year and daily during summer, spring break, and winter break. Lifeguards will be compensated with premium pay for day shift availability year-round, starting at $16.80/hr. This role is particularly suitable for individuals in online or home school settings, as well as older adults looking for part-time or full-time work. The wage begins at $14/hr, with opportunities for advancement up to $17.85/hr. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests in the water park. This includes providing extraordinary customer service, assisting guests in a professional and caring manner, and maintaining a vigilant watch over the pool area. Lifeguards must be comfortable and confident in interacting with people and able to work for 8 hours in a warm, humid environment. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training class, which we provide. Previous lifeguard training or experience is not necessary, but candidates must be flexible regarding scheduling, as peak times include weekends, school breaks, and holidays. Additionally, qualified applicants must complete a pre-employment drug test and background check, as The Ingleside Hotel is a drug-free workplace.
