About The Position
Make a Splash This Summer: Become a Lifeguard 1 and Keep Your Community Safe! Are you ready for an exciting and meaningful way to spend your summer? As a Lifeguard 1 for the City of Wichita, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping to ensure our neighborhood pools are safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone. This entry-level seasonal role is a fantastic opportunity to build lifesaving skills, gain valuable work experience, and contribute to your community-all while having fun in the sun! In this role, you'll monitor pool areas to prevent hazards, respond quickly to emergencies, and enforce safety rules. You'll also have a chance to assist with swim lessons, participate in ongoing lifeguard training, and learn about basic pool maintenance. It's the perfect job to build your confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and create positive summer experiences for both you and the patrons you serve. If you're 15 or older, love the water, and want to make a difference while having a blast, Lifeguard 1 is the role for you! THIS IS A LIMITED PART-TIME POSITION.
