About the position

Danfoss is looking for a Lifecycle Service Senior Sales Engineer who will be responsible for a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business with those clients and actively seek new service sales opportunities. Service Sales includes all products of Danfoss Drives to cover the needs of our customers installed base. The position will be part of the Local Sales organization. The person is fully accountable to maximize the revenue in service sales and improve the entire customer experience with DPD installed base. To succeed in this position, you have a flair for client communication and understand production and maintenance manager behaviors and needs. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all DLS / Service Business customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting service partners and install based end user
  • Negotiate contracts and close after sales / service agreements to maximize profits
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to all stakeholders
  • Develop business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
  • Work closely with partners and partner account managers to grow Lifecycle business for partners and focus on DrivePro partners with business plan
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities for DLS / Service Business
  • Main customer focus is with local end users, but providing leads and taking leads based on Global Key Accounts End customer or larger international groups is as well part of the role
  • Be a Team Player and work towards achieving country objectives and goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree / polytechnic graduate in electrical / mechatronics / automation engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in opportunity management for service business
  • Experience in project management will be value added
  • Knowledge of Drives Service / Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Experience in working for matrix management, cross-functional collaboration
  • High level of energy and ability to build relationships and trust across countries/cultures
  • Strong communication skills
