About The Position

Centerfield is seeking a highly strategic and analytical Lifecycle Marketing Lead with a passion for AI and deep expertise in data-driven personalization and email marketing to elevate our customer engagement strategies. As a Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you will be instrumental in growing our engaged audiences via owned channels (email, SMS, on-site), and building and managing new outlets for us to reach these users with messages they’ll love! This role requires a blend of creative vision, advanced technical proficiency, and a keen eye for leveraging complex data-driven insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and guide junior team members.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in email marketing, with a proven track record of managing large databases and high-volume email senders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated passion for AI and extensive working experience with its applications in digital marketing.
  • Strong data-driven mindset, comfortable with complex data sets, and proficient in using various tools for data aggregation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Growth-minded 'builder' mentality with a strong portfolio showcasing successful, profitable email or SMS campaigns.
  • Expertise in personalization strategies and implementation, especially within direct-to-consumer or ecommerce businesses.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and advanced proficiency in metrics-driven marketing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced email, SMS, and in-app marketing campaigns using Iterable, focusing on strategic personalization and user journey optimization.
  • Lead the development of new tools and systems to personalize messaging, product recommendations, and suggested deals to users by leveraging our vast data warehouse and transaction data.
  • Strategically identify, build, and scale new channels or tactics that will be loved by our millions of users and meaningfully grow our revenue from direct channels.
  • Develop sophisticated segmentations and customer journeys based on intricate customer behaviors and preferences.
  • Lead continuous A/B testing and optimization on various elements of email campaigns.
  • Collaborate extensively with our AI & data teams to integrate new product feeds and advanced recommendation engines.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, providing strategic insights and comprehensive reports to leadership.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with legal and ethical guidelines, maintaining top-notch domain health and deliverability metrics.
  • Provide guidance and direction to other team members on best practices in lifecycle marketing, data analysis, and AI application.
