About The Position

We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator to support the execution and delivery of CRM and lifecycle marketing campaigns at Instacart. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational excellence, loves keeping complex projects moving, and is excited to work across multiple channels and stakeholders. You’ll partner closely with Lifecycle Campaign Managers and cross-functional teams to execute campaigns across email, push, SMS, in-app, and landing pages, serving as a key contributor to the operational backbone of our CRM and lifecycle programs. The Instacart marketing team is highly analytical, moves fast and is focused on delivering quantifiable results. Our Consumer CRM Marketing team develops and delivers billions of messages a year across the company’s owned channels (email, mobile push, SMS, and in-app). As a Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and executing CRM and lifecycle initiatives across multiple programs and lifestages. You’ll work under the guidance of campaign managers while owning day-to-day execution and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or a related field, with a focus on execution and/or project management.
  • Experience working with marketing automation technology or CRM platforms (e.g., Braze, ExactTarget, Responsys, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for executional quality.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Clear, proactive communicator who provides regular status updates and ensures stakeholder alignment.
  • Comfortable learning and working in new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in, problem-solve, and support teammates as needed.
  • Passion for learning and growing within CRM and lifecycle marketing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or QA’ing campaigns across multiple channels (email, push, SMS, in-app).
  • Familiarity with basic segmentation, personalization logic, and testing frameworks.
  • Experience supporting landing pages or in-app content execution.
  • Exposure to data-driven marketing and campaign reporting.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Lifecycle Marketing Managers to execute campaigns across email, push, SMS, in-app messaging, and landing pages, including asset management, documentation, and final production.
  • Build and launch CRM and in-app campaigns using existing processes, tools, and guidelines, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Support end-to-end campaign execution by gathering requirements, coordinating timelines, and communicating deadlines and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with CRM Operations and Creative, and other partners to keep campaigns moving forward and flag risks or blockers early.
  • Audit CRM, in-app, and lifecycle campaigns on an ongoing basis to ensure messaging, creative, and targeting are accurate and up to date as programs evolve.
  • Maintain and update centralized documentation, audits, and trackers for campaigns, lifestages, and channel activity.
  • Track and manage campaign tests and results in a central hub, supporting the team’s learning agenda.
  • Ensure campaigns (including tests, segmentation, and personalization logic) are set up and deployed correctly.
  • Take on operational and executional tasks that arise across the team, helping maintain focus on strategic priorities and experimentation.
